Not only is Dimension® effective for preemergence control of crabgrass, but it also provides early post-emergence control when treated prior to tillering up to five leaves. The five-leaf stage generally corresponds to the time when crabgrass seedlings are easily visible in a lawn or turf. The benefit of early post-emergence control is the longer application window it offers compared with products that only provide preemergence control.
