Pulsation Plugs reduce passage slowing the water flow in and out of the diaphragm chamber, eliminating rapid pressure fluctuations on the diaphragm. This prevents rapid ON-OFF cycling which would render the switch inoperable. The pulsation plug is typically used for piston pumps and other types of reciprocating pumps, including plunger and diaphragm pumps. The plug can be field installed into any brand of pressure switch with a 1/4″ FPT connection.
