When using our ratcheting crimping tool, this size typically connects (2) 12 gauge stranded feed/main wires to (2) 16-18 gauge stranded lighting wires. Gasket lined protective sheaths are 1/2" across and the length is approximately 4". This extra length ensures enough inner gasket material is delivered to any exposed strands and down the wire jacket.
