This is field serviceable and no longer does the complete light and cord have to be replaced. For application simply remove the screws on the front face of the light and remove the light cartridge and re-insert the new cartridge. It also comes with a tool that fits the screw heads and facilitates the removal and replacement of the Light Cartridge. Each replacement cartridge comes sealed in its own bag with a new clear O-Ring.
